If you look at our [ocean world](https://map.minecraftislands.com) you will see that the islands come in all shapes, sizes, and biomes and every island has a tiny village on it which you can grow into a thriving community. You can even expand beyond a single island and build a multi-island empire by going to war with neighboring islands.
