Best 7 Days To Die Weapons

Alpha 19 added a lot of new weapons to the game and made adjustments to the already existing ones. This has changed the weapons in the game and the effectiveness of each weapon when dealing with hordes of zombies.

Whether you’re just a noob in the game or an experienced player, one thing is pretty straightforward. If you get your hands on decent weapons, your playthrough will be much easier and more fun. So in this list, we’ll be taking a look at the most effective weapons of almost every category in the game.

7 Days 2 Die Weapons List

The list comprises a lot of weapons that you might’ve neglected at first, but once you put them to use, you’ll understand their raw power. Not only are the guns on the list best among their categories, but they also are some of the best weapons in the game.

The list isn’t ranked or tiered, so feel free to pick any weapon from the list; all of them are great and will allow you to squash your way through those ungodly creatures.

7D2D SMG-5

The SMG-5 is probably the most underrated gun in the whole game; not only does the gun have a great magazine size, but it also uses those rounds very effectively and at that too at unbelievable speeds. The SMG has the fastest fire rate in the game, which says a lot about the gun.

Seriously speaking, if you’re looking for a gun that’ll put a lot of lead into the zombies, then the SMG is for you. Though it doesn’t do a lot of damage to the zombies, its reload speed, and its fast fire rate makes up for its low damage output.

That being said, the damage output shouldn’t be of a lot of concern to you, as once you start to get a grip on the gun, you’ll automatically start doing a lot of damage. And once you get the gunslinger perk maxed out, the SMG will become an even more devastating weapon in your arsenal.

7D2D M-60

It won’t be an accurate list if we omit the M60. It is a seriously deadly weapon that can store the highest amongst fo magazines in the game. But it’s not all about the amount of firepower you keep up; the M60 also has excellent damage output.

A fully kitted M60 holds the power to mow through a giant horde of zombies with absolute ease. It would be like cutting butter with a hot knife, real easy. So the next time you’re stuck between a big group of zombies, an M60 could come in handy!

7D2D Desert Vulture

The Desert Vulture is one mean little gun, the gun may look timid at first, but its ranged damage is one of the best in the game. Though it only has a magazine size of 9, it makes up for it by allowing the user to reload the gun really fast. That alone should tell you how crazy the damage output this gun can deliver.

The gun uses a magazine which means you can actually increase the ammunation holding capacity of the game drastically by using the magazine extender mod. Compare this to the Magnum, which doesn’t allow a magazine extender on it, and you start to realize the benefits of using a desert vulture.

And just like the SMG, the Desert Vulture is also governed by the gunslinger perks, which means once you reach level 5, the handgun will become even more devastating than it already is. So you have a lot of room for improvement once you start using this handgun!

7D2D Steel Club

mceu_39889437441661176236977.jpg

The steel club undoubtedly is the best melee weapon in the game regardless of the steel sled hammer being a part of the game. The steel club has an insane attack speed; you can chuck away zombies really fast, which is excellent for crowd control.

The steel club may outshine the other melee weapons when it comes to speed; its damage output isn’t the best one could get. But that doesn’t make the steel club a lousy weapon. When it comes to using a melee weapon, the steel club still is one of the best in the game.

And the reason is the perk governing the weapon, which is Pummel Pete. Once you take on 50 zombies using only the steel club, you will be able to do 50% more damage to the zombies in the future. Not only that, the stamina isn’t wasted too much when using a steel club.

7D2D Auto Shotgun

mceu_19453291451661176274545.jpg

The auto shotgun is by far the best in the game as of now. This weapon is insane, to say the least; the amount of damage it does to the zombies will blow your mind. Not only does it hold more ammunation than the pump shotgun, but it also allows extending its magazine capacity.

The auto shotgun also has a decent reload speed and attack speed as well. But as it is a shotgun, the rate isn’t its best suit. Infact it doesn’t even need speed becaus of the damage it can deal in just a single bullet to the mindless zombies.

The shotgun also keeps getting better because of its perks; you can effectively increase the reload speed by 30% and attack damage and attack speeds by 50% each. Once you’ve done this, the gun will become a force to be reckoned with. It is so powerful that it can blow away wood blocks like their balloons!

7D2D Sledge Turret

Now you might be thinking, why is there a weapon on the list that can hardly kill a zombie with 2-3 hits? And you would be correct, but that’s not the point of the sledge turret, it isn’t meant to be used as a handheld weapon that’ll help you kill zombies.

The sledge turret can work on its own, and that is where its immense potential lies. The next time you are prepping up for the blood moon, just lay some sledge turrets around the base so that the zombies have to walk around them and see these bad boys mow through the brainless creatures without you even having to press a button.

7D2D Pipe Bomb

mceu_21258532471661176410360.jpg

This one is a bit weird, considering it’s on a list that only has guns and other related weapons. The Pipebomb is more or less like a grenade, but it is one powerful grenade. The Pipe Bomb does a whopping 230 damage with an explosion radius of around 4-5 blocks.

The damage output from this tiny little pipe is just insane; you can wipe out entire hordes of zombies with just a couple of these bad boys. Not only that, once you level up all your perks, your bombs become more effective, in turn making you an even deadlier foe to be dealt with.

Most of the players in the game resort to skipping crafting the pipe bombs, but they are pretty helpful and come in real handy when you’re on the verge of getting eaten up by a horde of brainless zombies. One pipe bomb will be enough to save your life!

These are some of the most effective weapons in 7 Days 2 Die. Whether you're just starting out or you're an experienced player, these weapons will help you survive the hordes of zombies. So don't neglect them and put them to good use! Thanks for reading & if you have any items we should add to the list, please let us know!
